Bio

Originally from northern California, Jackson moved out to the Front Range in 2012 to go to school at CU Boulder. Although he was penning poems and playing guitar from a young age, it wasn’t until a creative writing class his sophomore year of college that he rediscovered his love for music and the written word. He dove headfirst into artists like Bob Dylan, Dave Van Ronk, Johnny Cash, and Neil Young, trying to emulate and find inspiration for his own songs. In 2019, he released his first album, Things To Live For, a set of sparsely recorded tracks that displays his lyrical prowess and storytelling abilities. In 2021, he released his second record, Dharma Farm, recorded at in the barn-turned-music-venue at its namesake in Hygiene, Colorado. His self-titled third album, released April 2023, showcases the originality he’s developed over years of songwriting to deliver listeners a true sonic portrait of Jackson Maloney. Jackson has toured statewide and regionally across the U.S. To stay in touch, subscribe to his mailing list at www.jacksonmaloney.com
